Designed in 1972 by Robin Day and made by Hille, this is a Series E child's chair.

These moulded chairs were produced for schools as a low cost, mass production piece of furniture. The seat shell is made out of a single piece of polypropylene and the frame is constructed of high quality steel and painted.

As these chairs have been used in schools there is some wear to the plastic and the odd scuff or scrape to the legs.

These chairs are size 'C' and measures 38cm (15 inches) wide x 33cm (13.5 inches) deep x 65cm (25.5 inches) high. For ease of transport the legs of these chairs can be removed and the chair can be posted boxed.
